Interim Head of school

Dear St. Christopher’s Community:

Welcome to the 2020-2021 School year.  We pray this message finds you all well and safe and that during these challenging times of the pandemic, you have found ways to enjoy time together.  We are so looking forward to seeing our students and supporting them at St. Christopher’s as they begin or continue their educational journey with us.

The first day of school will be August 24, 2020. We will have full on-site learning (Scenario A of our Reentry Plan). As we get nearer to the first day of school, you will receive more details on drop off and pick up procedures and schedules.

We know that it is impossible to promise that Covid-19 will never appear on our campus. We do, however, have confidence in our Reentry Plan that was carefully prepared based on the Center for Disease Control Guidelines (CDC), Florida Department of Health (FDOH), Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), the American Academy of Pediatrics, the National Academics of Science, Engineering and Medicine and Diocesan Guidelines. We will need your support and cooperation like never before in following the plan for it to be successful.

We also want to assure you, especially in these times, we remain constant in our mission which is “to provide an excellent and authentic Montessori Education in a Christian setting which includes spiritual development, ethnic and cultural diversity, service to the community and respect for self and others.”

dont forget

Wear your masks when in public.
Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds.
If you are sick, stay home. This is the most important rule of thumb and the best way to limit the spread of any communicable disease, like colds, the flu, or the spread of the coronavirus.
